  • The last photos of Anna Nicole Smith with her son Daniel have been sold to In Touch magazine for $400,000 after a fierce bidding war. The photos show Daniel with his mum and newborn baby sister Dannielynne just hours before Daniel died in his mum’s hospital room. A source told Us Weekly that Anna Nicole agreed to the sale of the pictures because “she needs the money” but the photos’ broker Getty Images has claimed a portion of the profits will be used to set up a charitable foundation in Daniel’s name.
  • Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman’s wife has given birth to the couple’s first child. Their daughter was born on Sunday, weighing 7lbs and has been named Nico. A spokesperson confirmed mother and baby are doing well and the parents are “thrilled”.
  • Jessica Simpson has shifted her schedule around so she can fly over to the UK next week to support her little sister Ashlee in her West End debut. Ashlee starts her five-week run as Roxie Hart in Chicago from Monday.
