Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson were spotted having dinner together in the Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hills Hotel at the weekend.

The couple, who have previously denied a relationship, shared a patio booth in the restaurant and at one point, asked for a screen to be placed around their table for privacy.

An onlooker told People magazine: “The chemistry between [them], the electricity, was palpable. They really looked into each other, despite the fact that they were among other people.”

Kate separated from her husband Chris Robinson last month but Owen threatened to sue publications that said he was the reason for the split. Now, rather than denying the relationship, his spokesperson has “no comment on his personal life”.

The two were previously spotted dining together earlier this month while on (apparently separate) holidays in Hawaii.
