Olivier Martinez has revealed he has no immediate plans to marry girlfriend Kylie Minogue because he’s determined to only marry once and wants to make sure he’s found the right person before ties the knot.

He told the Mirror recently: “I’m not the marrying type. I don’t believe in quickie marriages after six months. A wise man will wait six years.”

“I’m happy the way things are. She’s a beautiful woman and I’m a good guy. We have a lot of fun together. But when I do marry Kylie it will be for life. If I do get married I only want to do it once - that’s what I believe or what’s the point?”

Kylie described Olivier as her “rock” during her recent treatment for breast cancer and he revealed that he has ways of protecting her when the media attention surrounding them gets to be too much.

“When it all gets overwhelming, I’ve got some secret hideaways I take her to. I tell her, don’t say anything - just pack your bags.”

“There’s some in France, but not just there - all over the world - where no one can find us.”
