Eva Longoria has split up with boyfriend Tony Parker after 18 months together.

The Desperate Housewives star had previously spoken about how she thought they were going to be together forever and start a family together but now a source has told People magazine that the couple have gone their separate ways.

The source revealed: “They did break up. It’s amicable. It’s distance and demanding careers and not living in the same city. It didn’t happen yesterday. It’s been going on for a while.”

A second source revealed the two had been arguing extensively: “They don’t seem to be able to agree on anything, particularly how they can work things out and have a future together.”

Eva’s spokesperson Liza Anderson confirmed the two were “going through a very difficult time”.
