Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are certainly back on speaking terms - and sparked rumours that their romance isn’t as dead as was once thought - after being spotted together at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Monday night.

Mayer is currently staying at the hotel and was reportedly talking to different women in the bar when Jessica arrived with her friend and producer Romeo Antonio.

According to TMZ, at one point Romeo excused himself to go to the bathroom and John followed, then asked if anything was going on between Romeo and Jessica. Romeo confirmed there wasn’t at which point John returned to the bar and talked to Jessica for ten minutes.

Jessica and John then left the bar together, taking the elevator up to John’s suite at the hotel.
