Katie Holmes and Victoria BeckhamVictoria Beckham has offered new friend Katie Holmes a kid-free short break in Paris to give the new mum a chance to relax before her forthcoming wedding to Tom Cruise.

Katie arrived in the French capital yesterday with Victoria set to join her today. Victoria reportedly landed the pair front-row seats at this week’s fashion shows in the city and they will spend the rest of the time shopping and being pampered.

A source close to Katie revealed: “They have been in touch every few days since Suri was born.”

“Victoria thought Katie could do with a couple of days of ‘me’ time to indulge herself. Katie is very excited about the trip.”
