Geri Halliwell has revealed she has no immediate plans to return to the recording studio - because she’d rather be a mum.

The former Spice Girl gave birth to daughter Bluebell in May this year and despite an alleged assault by a carer on the child last month, Geri is very much enjoying motherhood.

She told the Mail on Sunday: “Bluebell is beautiful. I’m not in a hurry to go back to work I’m just busy and happy being a mummy.”

As well as former bandmate and mother of three Victoria Beckham, Geri also revealed that she’s been chatting to fellow new mum Gwen Stefani for baby-raising advice - and getting back into shape again.

Geri added: “Breastfeeding means the weight has dropped off, but I still have got a bit to lose.”
