Anna Nicole Smith with daughter DannielynnThe judge in the Anna Nicole Smith/Larry Birkhead paternity case has refused to issue an immediate order for Anna Nicole and her daughter to return to California for DNA testing.

The hearing will continue later this month but Larry’s lawyer, Debra Opri addressed a press conference after yesterday’s court appearance and said: “Anna, I am talking to you directly now and I want you to listen to me and I want you to hear what I have to tell you. If you are so certain that Larry Birkhead is not the father, then you have nothing, absolutely nothing to lose by submitting to this jurisdiction and allowing a paternity test.”

Anna Nicole and partner Howard K Stern are currently staying in the Bahamas after the birth of Dannilynn in Nassau a month ago.
