George Clooney admires Clive Owen and Johnny Depp

Perhaps we were wrong about the George Clooney/Brad Pitt joke the other day: it seems George only has eyes for Clive Owen and Johnny Depp - profesionally, talent-assessing eyes we mean.

George said recently: “Clive is the big find in the past two or three years. I think he’s a movie star. He’s, like, a man - there’s a sexuality and a masculinity that I think is really interesting.”

“Johnny just keeps doing really good stuff. He’s just a really, really smart and good actor.”

“I’ve written letters to him just so say, ‘Hey, man, you’re flaming great’.”

I NEVER WAS A GEORGE CLOONEY FAN, ALWAYS THOUGHT HE RECEIVES WAY MORE ATTENTION THEN HE DESERVES, AND JOHNNY DEPP JUST THE OPPOSITE! AT LEAST HE’S ASTUTE ENOUGH TO GIVE JOHNNY A NOD THAT HE’S LONG OVER-DUE FOR! JOHNNY DEPP WAS VOTED BY A UK ORGANIZATION AS THE 2ND COOLEST PERSON IN THE WORLD! MADONNA WAS 1ST, (HA). I LIVE 20 MINUTES FROM WHERE “MADGE” WAS BORN IN MI. SHE ISN’T COOLER THEN JOHNNY DEPP, NO FRIGGIN WAY! COOL IS A FAMOUS, TALENTED, GORGEOUS, NON-EGO DRIVEN TALENT! SOMEONE WHO DOESN’T HAVE TO HAVE HIS FACE IN THE CAMERA’S EVERYDAY TO SHOW THE WORLD JUST HOW GREAT HE IS! JOHNNY EPITOMIZES THIS, UNLIKE MR. CLOONEY WHO LIKE MADONNA, USES THE MEDIA EVERY CHANCE THEY GET! VANITY FAIRE SHOULD HAVE HAD JOHNNY DEPP ON THE COVER, (THEY WOULD HAVE SOLD MORE ISSUES)! JUST ASK NEWSWEEK?
