Anne Hathaway was surprised when she landed the editor’s assistant role in the film The Devil Wears Prada - because she says she doesn’t understand fashion at all.

Talking to the London Evening Standard, Anne revealed: “A fashionista like Mischa Barton should have been the one to play [the] role.”

“I did always try [at fashion], but I failed! I always felt that fashion was a little club that I couldn’t be a part of because I wasn’t cool enough.”
