Mel Gibson: I don’t want to be that kind of monster
Mel Gibson has spoken publicly for the first time about his July arrest for drink-driving.
Mel was pulled over for speeding in the early hours of the 28th July and was abusive to various police officers, including his infamous anti-Semitic rant and calling a female police officer “sugar tits”.
Mel spoke to Good Morning America’s Diane Sawyer about his comments: “It was just the stupid rambling of a drunkard, you know and…”
“What I need to do to heal myself and be assuring and allay the fears of others and to heal them if they had any heart wounds from something I may have said. So, this is the last thing I want to be is that kind of a monster.”
The interview will be aired on Thursday and Friday.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
