After complaining over the weekend about having to move filming away from Pakistan, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have thanked the people of Pune in western India for welcoming the Jolie-Pitt family, and the A Mighty Heart film crew, to the city.

Angelina told People magazine: “We deeply appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the people of Pune, India, where we are filming A Mighty Heart.”

“We are excited to have this chance for our children to learn about India’s wonderful culture and history.”

The entire Jolie-Pitt family has travelled to India where Angelina is filming scenes as the widow of Daniel Pearl, in the film about the journalist’s kidnap and murder. Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, is producing the film.
