Sarah HardingGirls Aloud’s Sarah Harding has revealed she’s made her film debut in a new British film called Runners with Cars.

Sarah has a small role in the film but insists: “It’s not the end of Girls Aloud — I just wanted to do something different.”

“All the other girls have done OK magazine shoots and I wanted to do my own thing. I only had to take three days out of our schedule to learn my lines and then a day to film it.”

“It’s only a short role and I’m really nervous it will end up on the cutting-room floor so I haven’t told anyone about it until now.”

“I insisted on wearing a brown wig for the role because I didn’t want to look like Sarah from Girls Aloud. I had to sit in the back of a cab, swearing down the phone — it’s not like me at all!”

But with a new single and their Greatest Hits album due out later this month, Sarah has no intention of becoming taking on any more movie roles just year: “I haven’t got time to do any big movie roles — we’re working too hard with the band.”
