  • David Arquette has backed up Jennifer Aniston’s Oprah Winfrey show claims that she is “still on” with Vince Vaughn. David, husband of Courteney Cox-Arquette, told LA radio station STAR 98.7, that the break-up rumours are: “complete horse doo-doo. It’s so funny, they say stupid things like, ‘Why’d Vince leave?’ or something like that. And the answer is because he’s doing a movie! I mean, come on people!”
  • The Japan Memorial Day Association has decided that Tom Cruise should be given a day of honour in Japan after his numerous high profile visits to the country and the time he spent with fans during his Mission: Impossible III promotional tour to the country last year. Cruise is the first Hollywood star to receive the honour.
  • Winona Ryder got the lead role in director Daniel Waters’ new film Sex and Death 101 because he thinks she’s a bit psychopathic. He said recently: “I needed a psychopath who was sweet, warm, and funny - and that’s basically Winona. She’s like an Audrey Hepburn that’s been dropped off the table and has a crack in it.”
