Kirsten DunstKirsten Dunst has revealed she turned down a role in American Beauty because she didn’t want to kiss Kevin Spacey.

Kirsten was offered the role of Angela Hayes, Spacey’s character’s teen fantasy figure but despite having her neck sucked by Brad Pitt in Interview with a Vampire when she was just 11, she didn’t fancy getting up close to another leading man.

She told Entertainment Weekly recently: “I was only 15 [when I was offered the American Beauty] and I didn’t want to kiss Kevin Spacey or be seen lying naked in those rose petals.”
