• Jennifer Aniston is to move back to Beverly Hills after two years living in a rented home in Malibu. Jennifer and ex-husband Brad Pitt owned a $25million home in Beverly Hills together but both moved out when they split at the start of last year. Jennifer moved to Malibu to be close to friend Courteney Cox-Arquette but now she’s bought a $15million six-bedroom modernist home, designed by architect Hal Levitt.
  • Singer Amy Winehouse has revealed she has a number of “old school” tattoos of naked women about her person. She said recently: “I like pin-up girls. I’m more of a boy than a girl. I’m not a lesbian, though — not before a sambuca anyway.”
  • Paul McCartney is seeking to trademark his name to stop it being used on products of which he doesn’t approve. The trademark application, made by Paul’s company MPL Communications, would give Paul the exclusive right to use the name McCartney on clothing, footwear and food products. A spokesperson confirmed the application but added that it is more of a defensive move, to protect his name, rather than expand his business empire.
