No Cruise-Holmes wedding at George Clooney’s villa - but maybe still Italy

George Clooney has laughed off reports that his Lake Como villa is set to be the wedding venue for Tom Cruise’s marriage to Katie Holmes.

His hosting rumours started after Katie visited the area last week but George’s spokesperson has now denied the story, saying “I can’t speak for what Tom and Katie are up to, but no weddings have taken place at (Clooney’s) villa and no weddings are scheduled to take place there.”

Katie and Tom may still be planning an Italian location for their nuptials though but the ceremony may be a little later than originally planned because, according to their spokesperson, they “both want everything to be right” and “they needed more time”. The spokesperson added that he’s “not denying” the Italy rumours though.
