Ashton Kutcher has revealed that despite being happily married to Demi Moore, he still wants to go on a date with Jennifer Aniston - because he bet his friends he would do it a decade ago.

Ashton made the $1000 bet with his friends as a teenager, before he had made it in Hollywood and before Jennifer married now-ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Ashton explained recently: “I was probably 17 or 18 when I bet 1,000 bucks I would someday go on a date with Jennifer Aniston.”

He tried to win the bet when Jennifer was married to Brad: “[Brad] said ‘Go ahead’. We had a date set to go to Pizza Hut and then she didn’t want to go. I was serious and I think she thought I was joking.”

“I tell you, that date will happen because I’ll ask Demi’s permission to do it. It’s not about the $1000 bet, it is about saying you will do something and doing it.”
