Milla JovovichMilla Jovovich has revealed she gave up partying for her mum’s sake because she knew if anything happened to her, her mum wouldn’t be able to cope.

The model-turned-actress (turned-singer-turned-fashion-designer) resisted the call of drugs when she left home as a teenager. She revealed recently: “I could have gotten really swept away.”

“It was remembering my mother that made me go, ‘You know what? This isn’t worth it. I could get into a lot of trouble because these people are doing drugs… and whoa, this could kill me, and what would my mother do if I took this risk?’ If I died, she would kill herself and that’s what stopped me.”
