Anna Nicole Smith reportedly told an ex-boyfriend that Larry Birkhead was the father of her baby - but only after she’d said the boyfriend was the father first.

According to TMZ, Anna Nicole dated a wealthy real estate developer, Gaither Ben Thompson, late last year and then in May this year, shortly before officially announcing her pregnancy, she contacted Thompson to tell him that she was the father. Thompson then revealed that was impossible as he’d had a vasectomy a few years earlier. Days later, Anna Nicole contacted him again and told him that Larry Birkhead was really the father of the child.

In related news, Anna Nicole is alleged to have gained residency in the Bahamas on false pretenses after it was revealed the house she and partner Howard K Stern are living in doesn’t actually belong to her; it belongs to Thompson. Thompson’s lawyer, Tracy Ferguson, told TMZ that Anna Nicole was sold the house one credit but has never paid up, and now Thompson wants to evict her. Anna Nicole established legal residency in Nassau under the premise that she owned the home. If the government believes that the purchase on credit was a scam to secure residency, she could be deported back to the US.
