Naomi Campbell has been arrested following an alleged assault on her drugs counsellor yesterday.

The unnamed counsellor walked to Charing Cross police station in central London with scratches across her face, claiming they had been caused by her supermodel client. A source revealed: “The marks were so red you could tell the attack had only recently happened.”

Officers arrested Naomi at her London home yesterday afternoon and questioned her on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

A statement was released by the Metropolitan Police says: “A woman attended a London police station and alleged an assault on her at an address in Westminster.”

“Officers attended the address and a woman aged 36 years was arrested at approximately 1.20pm.”

“She was taken to a central London police station. Last night she was bailed and will attend a station on a date in October.”

Naomi is also scheduled to appear in court next month with regard to claims that she attacked her house keeper earlier this year.

Of her most recent arrest, Naomi’s spokesperson said: “We believe there has been a misunderstanding. Once police have investigated we are sure this will be resolved satisfactorily.”
