Rod Stewart: I’m sure Paul McCartney isn’t a wife-beater
Rod Stewart has defended friend Paul McCartney against the claims that Paul physically and verbally abused wife Heather Mills.
He told Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2, Rod said: “I think he should fight her [in court].”
“I think his name has been slurred. I’m sure that he is not a wife-beater.”
In divorce documents leaked last week, Heather reportedly claims Paul physically abused her and humiliated her as well as drinking to excess and taking illegal drugs in her company.
Rod added: “He might be a drugtaker but I don’t think he’s a wifebeater. I think he should fight it. I don’t think he should settle.”

I wish this would just stop. It’s something that may be entertaining on a daily basis for the public, but every single slur thrown at Macca or Heather will be a month in Theropy for The little daughter they have. Paul is by far the most famous man alive without exception, and we arent enjoying his talent when we only look at his sad state of marital bliss. Heather isn’t the only one to blame, and I am sure Paul smokes weed like a chainsmoker smokes Camel’s.
and Im sure that old boy knows how to tip a pint with the best of them.
Our temporary entertainment will be old news, and mothing talked about in the years to come, but that little girl will always feel different from her brother, and sisters. Whenever a member of Macca’s family asks for a boycott on papers running these stories they sell three times the copies, so just as a human whos dealt with 7 divorces between two parents. Please show tact and dont raise this already sad state of affairs any further.
It’s like a movie that does well. If the first release creates buzz, then sequel after sequel is released until it stops making money. The only difference is a 3 yr old should have to choose which parent is right, or worry what’s wrong with her, that made her two parents marriage break up, when her other sibbllings had two parents , that were never apart. Let’s not feed ego’s for once, and think of that little girl!

This is for Paul,
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you,
till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer,
Never give up then,
for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

all paul did was to fall in love I hasten to add with the wrong woman. He did not leave himself enough time to greive for linda so I am happy that at last he has brought out his new album in tribute to her it was a long time coming/ they were a special couple no one will take her place/ I dont believe he was a wifebeater just a normal guy go to court pay her off wave goodbye?

I would not believe Paul is a woman beater any more than I would believe that Cliff Richard is a woman beater.
