• Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have confirmed that they are going to marry. Kate told fellow guests at the Moet & Chandon masked ball in London on Tuesday that “we are engaged”, with Pete adding “we are getting married”. The two were thought to have been shopping for an engagement ring last weekend, when they were spotted looking in jewellery shops in Florence, Italy.
  • Gwyneth Paltrow thinks that her ex-fiance Brad Pitt will snag the Best Actor Oscar at next year’s awards for his work in his new movie Babel. Gwyneth saw the film at a Cinema Society screening on Tuesday and told the New York Daily News: “It’s the best performance Brad’s ever given.”
  • Larry Birkhead has filed court papers claiming that Anna Nicole Smith, her partner Howard K Stern and the Registrar in the Bahamas who certified their daughter’s birth certificate are all guilty of fraud and conspiracy in claiming that Stern is the biological father of baby Daniellynn. Larry, who believes he is the father of Anna Nicole’s baby, has claimed that Smith and Stern conspired to falsify the details on the certificate and now the couple have 14 days to respond to Larry’s claim.
