Keisha Buchanan has revealed she wants to leave the Sugababes to work on her own material, but doesn’t rule out that the band will reform again at a later point.

Keisha, who has been in the band since she was 14, told the People newspaper that current bandmates Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah feel the same way: “We all want to do solo careers.”

“It is something we talk about a lot. We love what the girls in Destiny’s Child did by going off and doing their own thing before reuniting again.”

“I think we will be following suit - going off and then getting together again later. I am sure things will happen naturally.”

“I think we need to take a break soon so that I can enjoy being me.”

“People have said to me, ‘Tell me about yourself’ and all I could say was ‘I’m a Sugababe’. That really upset me for a long time.”

The band are set to release their greatest hits album next month.
