Sadie Frost was the victim of a burglary at her London home just days before ex-husband Jude Law attended the premiere of his new film, Breaking and Entering.

The burglars took money, a cheque book and personal photos, before fleeing in the family’s Range Rover.

At the premiere of the film, Jude confirmed: “Yes, the mother of my kids was burgled when they were in the house. I was particularly worried because the kids were in the house and I think that is a very different type of burglar to one that breaks into empty offices and takes computers at night.”

“One of the themes of this film that is most challenging is the idea of forgiveness.”

Police confirmed that they had been contacted about the break-in, that the car was subsquently retrieved but that no arrests have yet been made.

Jude and Sadie have three children together, aged between 4-10 years old, and Sadie also has a 16 year old son Finlay from a previous relationship.
