Desperate Housewives‘ Jesse Metcalfe has reportedly told his girlfriend Nadine Coyle that she has to choose between her band Girls Aloud or him because he can’t handle a long distance relationship.

A source close to the couple told Now magazine: “Jesse says he’s completely fallen for Nadine, but dating someone who lives on the other side of the world is a constant struggle.”

“Arranging to see each other is like a military operation.”

With film and television filming commitments, Jesse is based in Hollywood while Nadine is currently based in Europe while the band promotes their greatest hits album to be released next month.

The source added: “Jesse talked about wanting to start looking for a house to buy in Beverly Hills. He said he’s totally in love with Nadine and sees a future if they can get over long-distance problems.”

“He also suggested that Girls Aloud aren’t going anywhere right now.”
