Anna Nicole Smith has been admitted to hospital in the Bahamas with pneumonia.

She is being treated at the Doctors Hospital in Nassau, where she gave birth to daughter Dannielynn just under two months ago and where her son Daniel died just days later.

Her spokesperson Wayne Munroe confirmed the hospital admission and said: “She has a slight case of pneumonia. We’ve had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap.” He also added that the hospitalisation was just a precaution given Anna Nicole gave birth recently: “I didn’t gather it was anything serious.”
