Victoria Beckham has revealed that one of the reasons why she decided to dump her trademark hair extensions was because she was sick of clumps of hair falling out at inopportune moments - such as when she was in bed with husband David.

She told GMTV: “I was in the heat of passion and my hair extensions would come out - it was so embarrassing.”

She also revealed that the spark in their relationship hasn’t dimmed after seven years of marriage - and those hairy sex sessions: “I absolutely idolise him, I would do anything for him, I’m lucky to have him.”

“He’s a wonderful husband and he is great with the kids. He is obviously very handsome and genuinely a really wonderful person.”

The mother of three boys also took the opportunity to again confirm her desire to have a daughter at some point: “I’d love to have a little girl in the future. I’d like to do girly things with her. But I’m not pregnant and I’m not trying at the moment.”
