Ben AffleckBen Affleck has decided that he’ll never play a superhero again after being “humiliated” when he donned his figure-hugging costume in 2003’s Daredevil.

Speaking at the London premiere of his new film Hollywoodland, he said: “By playing a superhero in Daredevil, I have inoculated myself from ever playing another superhero.”

“Wearing a costume was a source of humiliation for me and something I wouldn’t want to do again soon.”

Ben received the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival for his role in Hollywoodland and has recently completed his third film as a director, Gone, Baby, Gone.
