  • Lindsay Lohan’s spokesperson has claimed the “Ninety Days” Alcoholics Anonymous tag that Lindsay was seen wearing at The Ivy in Beverly Hills yesterday was “a tribute to a friend” rather than a claim than Lindsay herself had been dry for three months. The coloured chips are usually given out to someone who is fighting a habit but also can be worn by supportive friends.
  • Wesley Snipes has reached a settlement with the US Internal Revenue Service to avoid jail time on tax evasion and fraud charges. Wesley is accused of claiming fraudulent refunds in 1996 and 1997, and not filing any tax returns between 1999-2006 but he has now agreed to surrender to federal authorities when he returns to the US but will not be jailed and will still be able to work and travel abroad. He is currently filming Gallowwalker in Namibia.
  • Nicole Kidman has cancelled promotional appearances for her new film Fur to concentrate on supporting husband Keith Urban while he is in rehab for alcohol abuse and to avoid having to answer questions about Keith’s problem. Nicole dropped out of a mini-screening of the film and dinner event at the New York Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday and according to Fox News, she won’t be attended the high-profile New York premiere of the film on Sunday night either.
