Snoop DoggSnoop Dogg has been formally charged with possessing a dangerous weapon after trying to board a plane in California while carrying a 21″ collapsible police baton.

Snoop was found to be carrying the weapon at John Wayne Airport in Orange County in September and if convicted of the charge, could face up to three years in jail. He has been released on $150,000 bail.

Last month, he was arrested again on suspicion of carrying a handgun and possessing marijuana at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. He was taken into custody and freed on a $35,000 bond and is expected to appear in court for his arraignment in December.
