Katie Price: we want five children - and to adopt a sixth

Katie Price, aka glamour model Jordan, has revealed that she is hoping for a big family with husband Peter Andre.

Already a mother of two to four year old Harvey and 18 month old Junior, Katie revealed yesterday that they plan to have another three children and would like to adopt a child on top of those five.

But despite previous suggestions that she was interested in adopting a child from abroad, she has now said she has plans to follow in Madonna or Angelina Jolie’s footsteps with a celebrity adoption of a photogenic child from Africa. Instead, she feels her experience of dealing with son Harvey’s blindness and autism (caused by septo-optic dysplasia) will inspire her.

She told This Morning: “I would like to adopt a disabled child because I feel we know how to deal with that.”
