  • Beyoncé Knowles and Eva Longoria have revealed that they’re both in talks to star in Sofia Coppola’s next film, Tipping the Velvet. The period piece centres around a lesbian affair between a Victorian dance hall star and a fishmonger’s daughter. At a recent charity event in New York, Beyoncé commented: “We’ve had Brokeback Mountain, so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment,” with Eva adding: “Yes, it’s true. We are talking about doing the movie together. It’s such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story.”
  • Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding is rumoured to be dating celebrity hairdresser, Adee Phelan. A source close to the couple told the People newspaper: “Adee and Sarah have been friends for a while and always got on well. But over the past month they’ve been on several dates. It’s early days, but they both seem really happy together.”
  • Keira Knightley has revealed she won’t be a Pirate of the Caribbean anymore because she’s bored of it. She recently finished filming on the third film in the series Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End and said that she won’t return as her character of Elizabeth Swann even if a fourth film is made. She said: “I’ve been playing this girl since I was 17. I’m 21 now and I’m onto very different things.”
