Heather Mills insists she’s not a “gold digger”
Heather Mills has insisted she is not a “gold digger” in her first interview since separating from husband Paul McCartney but she refused to answer questions about the claims made in leaked court documents regarding physical and verbal abuse from Paul.
She told US show Extra: “I fell in love for the right reasons. I fell in love unconditionally.”
“Eighty-five per cent of my income goes to my charity. The word gold digger doesn’t go with that.”
“If I was a gold digger, I would have a lot of money in my bank account. I’d be worth millions and millions.”
She also insisted that “I’m a good mother, I’m a good person.” and denied the rumours that she’s having an affair with her trainer Ben Amigoni: “He is not my lover. I haven’t got a lover. I’m focusing on my daughter Beatrice.”
She also said that she would “never” marry again and that she feels her biggest accomplishment in life was giving birth to Beatrice: “I tried for a long, long time…two ectopic pregnancies and six miscarriages. They told me I could never have children.”
She added that after her own “crazy awful childhood”, “it’s made me so protective [of Bea]”.
The interview will be aired in the US next week.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
