Angelina Jolie angry over Brad Pitt’s parents and Jennifer Aniston

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with son Maddox Jolie-Pitt and daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt Angelina Jolie is reportedly livid that Brad Pitt’s parents are set to spend Thanksgiving with Jennifer Aniston.

According to Britain’s Star magazine, Jane and Bill Pitt bought tickets to Los Angeles to visit Brad, Angelina and their children “ages ago” only to find the family are still in India filming A Mighty Heart. Upon hearing the Pitts would be alone in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jennifer invited them over for dinner.

Jennifer’s friend Tonya Hart told the magazine: “Jen was just coming to Brad’s rescue. His folks bought the tickets ages ago. Jennifer thought she was doing good, but apparently it’s whipped up a hornet’s nest with Angelina.”

Another source continued: “[Angelina] is distraught that the woman who is practically her mother-in-law is continuing to mix with Brad’s ex wife,” and she has decided to cancel the arranged family gathering planned for Christmas.

Dorothy Krebs, a friend of Jane and Bill Pitt’s, added: “Angelina seems to have made a stand and whatever Jane and Bill do, they can’t find favour with her.”

Firstly, let me say that I can’t STAND Jennifer Aniston.

That being said, I can understand why Angelina would have her nose out of joint over this.

BUT…. It was awfully SWEET of Aniston to invite Brad’s folks. That was a kind and loving thing to do. Shame on the Pitts for accepting the invitation, though!

If I were Angelina, I’d be raising hell right now with Brad, who needs to tell his parents to BACK OFF. (If there were a grandchild with Aniston, I could understand the closeness, but that’s not the case)

We’re forgetting the kids that are involved. Those are the Pitt’s biological/adopted grandchildren. Aniston lost her chance to be a part of Brad’s life, and now all of the sudden she wants to ruin the new life he’s started? She should stick with Vince Vaughn and invite HIS parents to her dinner if she’s feeling so generous. Brad doesn’t need her to “come to his parents rescue”.

Jennifer Anniston is a decent person. She is respectful and doing what any decent person would do. Just because she is divorced from Brad, doesn’t mean she can’t be friends with her ex in laws. In todays age, there are many extended families who do this all of the time and nothing is though of it. In fact, it’s encouraged for the sake of the children. Ahhh, I see, as long as everything goes Angelina’s way, there are no problems. As soon as anyone does anything she doesn’t like – that’s it. It’s over. Her behaviour is weird. She cut off relationships with her father. How many times has she been married now? She adopts children like a person changes socks. It’s almost become a joke. Not that it’s wrong to adopt children, but this one, she does it all for publicity.

Angelina is known for being a real flake. She’s the kind of babe you date but never bring home to your folks. I believe Brad Pitt is finally waking up. You can see the stress all over his face when he’s with Angelina. She’s known to take temper tantrums, much like a child when things don’t go her way. I would imagine Brad’s parents figured Angelina out very early on. They were probably mortified when they saw their son hooked up with her. Who wouldn’t be. I’d be sick if my son was.

Seems Angie’s latest movie should be titled: “A Mighty Tantrum.” She is too busy jetting all over the world to spend time bonding with her lover’s parents, and then has a fit if they associate with her lover’s former wife. If the Pitts showed up and nobody was home, obviously they weren’t told Brad and Angie would be too busy to be there. It certainly is not not the way someone treats his parents! So now he is to pressure his parents to not have anything to do with Aniston? That is just silly. They can see whomever they want. After all, he and Angie are toooooo busy for family ties. If anything, Pitt should apologize to them. Jolie sure hasn’t shown consideration for his parents. She’s on an ego trip. And if she has her way, Pitt will call an airplane home – nobody else will be allowed to be around him – unless Jolie approves. I feel for the Pitt family.

My mother died when I was young and when I got married, I became great friends with my mother-in-law. Unfortunately my husband and I split up, but I still am great friends with my ex-M.I.L. His new wife hates this (she has made no effort at all to get to know the in-laws, she isn’t even courteous to them) and we conduct our friendship in secret now to be considerate of her son and his new wife. However, when my ex-MIL was diagnosed with breast cancer, her son and his wife did not know how to support her and again I as her friend was there for her. She is to me the mother I lost, I am to her the daughter she never had and above all we are good friends, share the same values, have fun together and rely on each other. Great friends are hard to find, Angelina should just get over herself and will find if she is just a little friendly to the Pitts they will embrace her. Mature people can have several good relationships, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing because of jealousy and bitterness.

She did wrong to Jennifer Aniston and it’s that karma thing, what you give out comes back to haunt. There is no problem with Jennifer being friends with Brad’s parents, only in Angelina’s mind. Angelina is much too selfish and self centered to accept Brad’s family might want to be friends with Jennifer. Anyone who doesn’t understand this also has maturity and insecurity issues. The demands against this friendship tell me that Angelina is immature, self centered and difficult to live with. If she was confident about herself and her relationship with Brad, none of this would bother her. But, she’s not. She knows she did wrong and that her personality has it’s faults. Serious ones. While her appearance may attract men for a while, keeping them is another matter.

Angelina is just too demanding. It’s got to always be her way. That gets tiring for anyone after a while. Some guys may like it for a while, but a steady diet of it wears thin and you come to realize there is no balance or fairness. It’s a one sided relationship. Angelina is spoiled. She’s always had her way, that can happen with real good looking women. No one wants to say anythign to them, set boundaries because they’re trophies. These guys are too afraid of losing them. That makes it worse on these women because they never learn how to respect anyone, so their narcissistic behaviour is reinforced.

There’s no question Jolie is physically striking, but that’s where it ends. I compare Angelina to a Heather Mills type personality. Both lack maturity, integrity, thoughtfulness. Both would be very difficult to live with. Who needs that.

To Team Jolie:

You’re obviously not a man. You’re judging beauty by superficial means. There’s a lot of strong beautiful women out there who are spoiled and wacko. The list is long. Naomi Campbell, who has been known to donate money to charities, but is totally crazy, is nothing but a spoiled brat. Angelina also fits that bill.

Jennifer Anniston is more grounded and thoughtful. How long she’ll stay that way, who knows. But from a male perspective, this is the difference between how men will see these two women. Jolie, yah, like Campbell, and other many beatiful, flakey and spoiled movies stars is a dime a dozen, she’s not what you want long term. Her type is known for a good time in the sack, a few months tops. Not the kind of gal you take seriously or home to meet the folks. She might sound philisophical in some areas, but she’s as flakey and crazy as they come. She’s also very self centered too, so not good relationship material. It would always be her way or her way. And babes like that tend to be very possessive and surprisingly insecure.

Life with a woman like that would be pretty crazy, it wouldn’t be your own. It wouldn’t be happpy. Brad Pitt no longer looks like he’s enjoying life.

As far as Jennifer Anniston, she’s more stable, mature and the fact that she gets along with her ex inlaws and they enjoy her company speaks volumes. I would suspect Jolie is jealous of that relationship, a relationship that she can’t have because she doesn’t know how to have one. She’s too focussed on herself including her image, needs, demands, feelings and desires to care about anyone elses.

If I see her adopt another child in Africa I’m going to be sick. If she wants to do good there, donate money for groups to come into those villages to look after these children, train their parents, help them become responsible, healthy, independent, resourceful, strong. Build homes, health center, schools for thest people. Educate them. That would impact these children’s lives more. Rather than go after all of the media attention and fame of picking the flavour of the month child, she could really help the communities out, help these children and parents develop in their environment. Give them the skills. But, Jolie is just in it for herself, she wants another pet.

By the way, there’s a lot of homeless poor children in the USA that get neglected every day.

Angelina is not long term relationship material, no matter what way you look at it. Another insecure woman might think she is because they don’t know the difference between what is maturity, solid, stable, grounded and what men look for partners, and what they don’t. That’s why so many insecure women get hurt and lose it in relationships and why they make bad partners. They don’t understand what a healthy relationship involves, and you have to spend all of your time explaining it to them, and they still don’t understand. That’s not to say Angelina won’t change down the road. But at this point in her travels, she is very much not long term relationship material. She doesn’t get it. She’s simply too high maintenance, too demanding, possessive, would always have to have her way, wouldnt’ listen, is too self centered, focussing too much on things that don’t matter. It would take a very strong man to challenge her and in order for her to change, she’d have to be dumped a few times by someone she cared very deeply for and hopefully on one of those occassions, she would start to look inward to see how she contributed to the breakup and start making changes to be a better person, more respectful. This would take time. I believe her ego is far too fragile for her to entertain that at this point in time. It may always be, and then, maybe one day, she might surprise.

I wouldn’t expect Angelina to have a whole lot of meaningful relationships at this time, not with women who are honest with her and solid. She’ll surround herself with a whole lot of yes people.

Many men will like Angelina or women like her, for their primary needs. Sex. She’s a trophy. But long lasting needs, that involve maturity, understanding, more balanced and respectful communication, they will turn to other women. It will take Angelina many losses in relationships where she cares about someone deeply, and only then if she is open to learning and her ego isn’t too big that she can accept that she was not an ideal mate, will she ever learn and grow. She’s not there yet. Men can tell if women are there.

No question the babe is good looking, but it takes more than good looks to make a relationship work. If I have to explain what that is, maybe you might be suffering yourself from similar problems and are unable to to see the difference between a healthy relationship and one not so healthy. There are a lot of people who don’t know the difference. These people keep making the same mistakes over and over.

No one is saying women have to be passive, guys don’t enjoy passive women who say nothing. Men like women who speak honestly but are respectful, not motivated by panic or fear that their boyfriend is going to look at someone else. They like women who are confident that know they have a lot to offer and aren’t afraid of their partner speaking with another woman, because they are comfortable within themselves. They are confident when their husband’s ex wife carries on their relationship with her ex inlaws, because they know, they too have established strong ties with them, and they are relaxed about that.

These women are not afraid to speak up, but they speak up differently than the woman who is insecure and self centered. They speak up from a point of confidence, maturity and respect, not only for the other person but for themselves. They are relaxed. Their partners respect them. Who wouldn’t. They don’t idolize anyone and they are themselves, which is relaxed mature and fun. These women know how to communicate, listen and relationships with them are on equal footing, not one sided. They are relationships that grow and are lasting. These women are beautiful through and through. Their inward beauty is not dependent on their outward appearance and they are confident with themselves, and don’t put emphasis on physical appearances with themselves or anyone else.

I have to say that Kevin and John have hit the nail exactly on the head when describing Jolie. I’d be interested on your take on Pitt. I say he is immature, insecure and self-centered. He goes from woman to woman and does not seem to have a true sense of himself. He’s superficial. For him to leave Jennifer and cheat on her and blatantly lie about it , he had to have very little true respect for her. Although I beleive that he did and does love her. He wasn’t mature enough to insist that they really talk about and deal with their problems. Instead he took the easy way out and bedded Jolie and made an instant family. That doesn’t say a lot for his character.

That being said, I know thre Pitts like Jennifer because she is a kind, caring down-to-earth woman who really loved their son and them. That is why she is still a part of their family.

Brad Pitt is insecure. He got taken in by Jolie’s appearance. She was the forbidden fruit. The kind of woman your folks warn you against. He was curious. She seemed exciting. She was domineering, possessive and tremendously insecure. No woman does the things she does unless she is extremely insecure. There was chemistry, however, he was too immature to realize the relationship needed more than excitement and good looks.

In his previous relationships, Pitt chose “sweet” girls, ones he felt he could manipulate, be more powerful than. Things got boring, predictable. Jolie is no sweet girl. He can’t control her. He has no power over her and can’t even control himself at this time, because you are right, he’s insecure. One thing is for certain she has control over is Brad Pitt. Total control. She is enjoying it. She’s not looking for balance. Pitt is her victim. He feeds into and jumps to her every whim, out of fear of losing her and that feeds her ego. Right now, Jolie is in the same situation Pitt was with Aniston, she’s the one having her way and she gets bored easily. If Pitt should break from his destructive behavior and set limits, there will be issues between the two. I’m predicting a matter of time.

I believe Pitt will look at the relationships he’s had differently. He will probably have more respect for the Aniston’s Paltrow’s and maybe help persons with those chacter traits develop more in the relationship. Aniston has suffered and has most likely developed more insight and confidence. And with that will feel more comfortable setting limits.

So, the two – Jolie and Pitt are very codependent. Pitt has now become the passive partner, a very unhappy one, and now knows how both his ex’s Aniston and Paltrow felt before him. I would put both Aniston and Paltrow in this category, – passive, but not as extreme as what Pitt is. He has hit rock bottom. They set some limits, Pitt sets none. He accepts it all. But, for now in his mind, it is too late for Pitt to stop the rollercoaster ride, as he’s previously been accustomed to being in control in previous relationships and this is foreign waters to him. He’s now the puppet who’s afraid to cut the strings and afraid to admit he made a mistake. Ego. He needs some stable friends, outside of tinsel town who understand life who can help him through this. He needs to break from Jolie. He also needs some time alone, without any relationship. Immediatly jumping into another relationship he wont’ be able to see what’s wrong and make adjustments. He’ll be on the rebound. Pitt needs a cooling off time to reflect and mature.

In order for him to thrive, he needs a relationship that is more balanced. I’m not certain if he’ll find that relationship in tinsel town, but Aniston was closer to balanced than Jolie is, or will most likely ever be. Aniston needed to respectfully set a few more limits with Pitt and feel more confident in doing so. Aniston has integrity, is respectful and genuine. I believe Pitt might appreciate his relationship with Aniston more now. Anniston would have to be careful not to slide back into being too passive. She would have to work at being assertive on a constant basis, knowing her intentions were good. It would take a series of catastrophic events, awareness and willingness on Jolies part to admit her own problems and change before Jolie could be a person trusted to enter into a committed relationship with. It’s her behaviour that is questionable. She has no problem speaking up, but the intentions behind the voice are the problem.

I really don’t understand why you guys dare to judge her so much for her little part of love to be mother of her adopted children, If any of you adopted a baby, I would never thought about you’re trying to save the world! and think you should built an adoption center or any of those ideas for showing her how to do the things which suposse to be done by Goverment! Not Her! Yes. They have plenty of houses, Yes, They can fill those house with all the babes, then you guys will say :" She adopts baby like puppys. She is trying to be a savior. etc." I don’t think she wants to be anything like that! She wants to be herself, She just want create their family to fullfill their life like any of us do, how many kids do we want, when do we want? How far apart ?etc. we all have to think wisely about that, my husband and I have three little boys, It does need a lot of work, but abselutly worth it! Makes you feel grounded. I really felt surprise that Jen didn’t want give her husband a baby if she loved him so much. She wasn’t willing to be submissive to be a responsable wife, She wants to be A-List star some day, spiritualy, emotionaly, professionaly be equel to Brad, then starts to have baby with Brad, It would make her on the same page with Brad.but things is not that simple like that, How long can Brad wait with this huge emotional desire not being fullfilled, How soon Jen can be a A-list start in big sreen. Jen was put her marrige on the risk, She is almost 7 yrs older than Angie! Brad isnot that dumb, Man like Brad who are you going to choose? One is much younger, has a strong desire to have children and real family, alrealdy had an Oscor, has much sophisitic life style and personality, has a stonge confidenc in herself,and very attactive. or the one even don’t want to give you a baby! Anginela definitly envoke every corner of Brad’s emotion, that kind of feeling really can create love, I’m sure you guys all kown travle with your spouse or lover how much can enhance your romance. or some guys say Jen is the best, maybe thats because you are just like Jen, regulor, easy to handle, we all God’s creature, all have our meaning in the life, Some think they foud then lost it, some are still looking, some think they found each other, Just like Brad & Angie, who knows future? they even don’t kown for sure either. but I’m sure they want make things work, just like all of married people do, If I was Jen, if it was my part foul ,then forgive myself, move on. All I have to say is Jennifer & Brad’s parents can still have a relationship, why not? Jennifer has been in their lives for many years. People who are in the public eye will be judged and so it is important for them if they don’t like the bad press to keep things decent and honest. They won’t get into trouble that way. With the line of business these people are in, if they don’t like the media, they shoudl quit their jobs, or do something positive to change their image.

Pitt and Jolie chose this profession. They also made choices which is affecting their credibilty and hurt their reputation. These people make millions, and are in the limelight. They’ll be judged. It’s important for them to do the right thing. When they don’t, the media report it.

And her & Brad filming ‘A Mighty Heart’ in India did some good by employing hundreds Indians as extras, production staff & stars. The movie poured money into the city they filmed in.

To Team Jolie: Ironically, it is the loud mouthed, rude people, both women and men, who don’t understand how to be tactful and professional that set women and men back years. The only one who’s managed to set women back on this forum from what I can see is the poster calling herself Team Jolie.

I know a lot of powerful assertive women, politicians, artists, businesswomen, lawyers. They don’t act and talk like you. If they did, they’d never be where they are. They demonstrate power through professionalism, knowledge and respect. That gives them confidence. The cheaper and more abusive one becomes the more you know they don’t have the understanding, education or ability to communicate better. That’s what puts them in a bad spot. That’s why they lash out. There’s no middle ground for them.

I don’t like to see a woman struggle, nor a man either. But you know what I’ve found, the ones that are passive are also aggressive. They don’t know how to be assertive, so it’s either one way or the other with them. Either quiet or abusive. That’s why they never get ahead. They don’t know how to speak up unless it’s full of anger and abuse. In the end they suffer alot because they usually end up in abusive relationships, both receiving abuse and handing it out. It’s hard to figure out where their abuse begins and ends. It’s too bad. There is an easier way they just don’t know it.

The people they will support will be like minded people.

To Team Jolie: I do manage, counsel and over see both women and men in shelters. I work with police, lawyers other doctors and politicians. Abuse goes both ways. Sure, everyone can swear, it depends on how it is done. You know when it’s abuse.

It does take two to make a relationship work. I’ve seen some relationships where one party had no interest and never did and just strung the other party along. But one thing is very evident, morally, a person should want to keep away from someone who’s married. Why? For one, morally it’s wrong. It shows lack of respect for others, even if the partner indicates he’s not intersted in his or her spouse. Do you know how many times I have heard the same old, same old “but my wife, husband does not understand me”. Why do you think that is?

Not only does entering a relationship with a partner who is somewhat committed to someone lese affect the life of others, it will almost always come back and affect the party entering into the relationship. If the husband or wife can leave their spouse for you, one day, they can leave you the same way for someone else. Do you realize how many women and men I have had to speak with about similar issues. They never thought it would happen to them because they thought it would be different for them. They thought their relationship was somehow different, more mature, or better than it was with the previous partner. And, a few years down the road, when the same person gets disinterested, and can’t work through the problems again, we learn that he or she is not a good finisher or not very good at working through problems and making decisions including who they chose as a partner. When they start to walk again, leaving their partner totally disillusioned it should not be a surprise. All of the signs were there.

I have no thoughts one way or the other about Jennifer Aniston. I just know I personally wouldn’t enter into a relationship where someone was attached to someone else when I met them. It’s just asking for trouble and rightfully so. The other thing, it doesn’t make a person feel really good about them selves that they have done it. How can someone like themselves when they’ve done something like this. I certainly wouldn’t like it if my wife were to enter into a relationship with someone when she was with me. If she wants to dump me first, fine, she has my blessing. It’s called respect Team Jolie. Both self resepct and respect for others. When you lack that, you can’t have a decent long lasting and healthy relationship. You can’t set boundaries or respect them and others won’t respect yours as they are not clearly set.

To Mimi/Team Jolie: Why am I talking about people I help in shelters? Because “Team Jolie”, mentioned women’s shelters when I pointed out she had been abusive on this forum. She not only is in denial, she is sending a wrong message out there to men and women on what is acceptable values, morals and boundaries within relationshis. We teach these things at shelters so that these people can go back into society and live healthier more productive lives.

This is a forum where people visit can contribute and learn things.

As far as Brad and either of these women being at fault. All three are at fault. But the two biggest violators here are Mr. Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They entered into this relationship knowing Brad was married to Jennifer. I don’t care what the reasons were. I hear a million times a day, my husban/wife didn’t understand me. (Usually it is because they didn’t know how to effecitvely and respectfully communicate the problem and establish boundaries or because they chose a partner that they were incompatable with, had no similar interests or values with). Either way, the decent thing to do is treat someone with respect. If you want respect you give it out. When somoene disrespects anothers life, as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did with Jennifer Aniston, they must understand there will be consequences, ridicule, anger especially because they are all very public figures.

Brad Pitt and Angelina both brought this upon themselves. If they do not like the ridicule and judgements, they should have thought about that before they made the decision to begin an extramarital relationship together. They are very much in the public eye and will be scrutinized. It comes with he territory. If they want their lives to be more private then they should conduct themselves in a way that supports that lifestyle. They have not. There are always consequences for actions. The minute they jumped into bed together and crossed the line, they both knew there would be consequences. If they did not both would be very foolish.

Her history also included having sex with another woman’s man. That must have seemed tame to her. Maybe we should just all forget about all of the drugs she has used. The above are my thoughts on AJ. Now my thoughts on Brad Pitt and why I think he’s better suited to AJ for now. Before the site normals go off on a rant, let me point out that both are tremendously spoiled and Brad seems to like to play the part of a puppy. He couldn’t do that with Aniston. They were on equal footing. She didn’t want children just yet and Brad Pitt did and Aniston was in control of her body. Not wanting to be denied what he wanted and when he ran to the waiting arms of AJ. AJ knew that by offering him sex and a chance to have children, manipulating the situation, she could control all else. And she did and she does. She found the man’s weakness and exploited it.

As soon as the fans no longer care about AJ and Brad Pitt, neither will AJ and she’ll run off and find herself another man or woman.

As far as Aniston and Pitt’s parents, Aniston and the Pitts have every right to be friends with whoever they want. Brad may have control of some things, but he isn’t about to tell his folks or his ex who to associate with since he doesn’t want them telling him who to see and not to see. Besides, the Pitts are going to need a lot of support when AJ finally drops Brad Pitt. In time she will get tired of him like she does of everything else.

You know it’s sad that so many couples don’t respect one another and the relationships they get into. If you knew how many Jeninifer Anistons’ and Angelina Jolies, and Brad Pitts we treat in a day. Many people that are in relationships don’t think about the actions they take, and some over react. Some are too fearful of taking any stand and do nothing, others do too much or talk too much. Much of the work in relationships is learning to become more balanced. It’s surprising how many people don’t think about how their actions will impact their lives. They just see that immediate gratification and don’t look beyond that. Take a look at Britney Spears lately. She is one person who’s going to suffer some pretty serious consequences in the not so distant future. But she only sees things in the now and wants to create a name for herself. Unfortunately, she will one day realize it was the wrong attention she sought. After her recent antics, there will be far less men who’ll be interested in her, and of the ones that will be, most women wouldn’t want anything to do with them. She hasn’t even considered her children.

Then there’s the men cheating on women, women cheating on men and taking drugs. So much work goes into restoring these people’s lives, if it can be done. The pain of losing someone in a relationship to another relationship is like experiencing a death. It takes time to get over these losses. The person who jumps from relationship to relationship and cannot be alone suffers a lot. They usually make bad relationship decisions based on a fear of being alone, rather than chosing the right partner. What Brad Pitt and Angelina did to Jennifer was wrong. And because these two don’t understand that, they are more inclined to do it to one another, and not have learned from the experience. So, in all probablity they too will get left in a way that deeply hurts them when they least expect it and will be left totally devestated.

People need to think before they get into relationships and while they are in them, learn to communicate more effecitvely with respect. Listen, ask questions, respectfully voice their concerns, set limits. Relationships aren’t easy, but with the proper elements, work, integrity, right coaching, solid friends, depth and understanding relationships will thirve. Even ones that were struggling can be turned around. I’ve seen a lot of abuse and over reacting, anger, immaturity, and lack of respect for persons and boundaries. It doesn’t mean it has to stay this way. By communicating right things with one another people get healthy. Part of getting better is recognizing what they are doing wrong in relationships, and how to change that and do more of what’s right. It takes time to change things. Brad Pitt, Angelina and Jennifer have all suffered in different ways. They all have different things to learn. Best wishes to all of them.

myob, I agree and prayer alone is not effective. If it were there would be a lot less suffering and crime in this world. It helps but more is needed to change these situations and that involves taking the right actions. Right actions involves telling these people the truth, not lying to them or staying silent to avoid a reaction. Many of these people have been rewarded in some way for their negative behaviours from friends, family, aquaintenances, coworkers reacting with either avoiding the issue, and some are even supportive. Some that do raise concerns may be so outraged and aggressive in their communication that the message gets lost in the anger and falls on deaf ears. Few people discuss the issues and set limits.

Everyone judges something. We decide if we like a certain food, a piece of clothing, a friend, a behaviour. We can discuss these judgements and that’s not a bad thing, when it becomes bad is when we don’t use it to help one another. Right now, take Britney Spears for example. She is running around town wearing short hiked skirts, and no undergarments exposing herself. The tabloids love it; they sell magazines, thus reinforcing Britney’s behaviour. Others make fun of her, others call her names, and there will be young girls who look to her as a role model and copy her antics. Few will take the time to spell out what she’s done to herself, her family, children and what she is doing long term to herself and the next generation of women to follow. She’s making money right now, she’s in the limelight and it’s immediate gratification. The wrong message gets delivered. Paryer alone isn’t going to change that. People together need to do something and that requires honest and respectful communication. People need to stop giving the Britney’s the attention they seek, stop buying the magazines, and give her the attention when she does something right. She needs honest communication, being complimented when she does something right and being corrected and challenged respectfully when she does something wrong.

The problem often lies in the bottom line. People make money from Britney’s mistakes,just like they do from Angeliina’s and other celebreties mistakes. Many places feel, if it’s making money, who cares how they got there. So, negative behaviour gets reinforced. The same at some places of work when the negative behaviour gets results, it can be more tempting not to challenge it and so many people can turn a blind eye to abusive situations.

Here’s the thing. Prayer without right actions is not effective and meaningless. When we lose our way, it’s important that we have people around us who will have the courage and be thoughtful enough to comment honestly without gloating or preaching, or wanting to abuse us. Aniston has for the most part tried to keep her relationship with Vaughan out of the media because it was her fear that too much publicity was a problem that plagued her relationship with Pitt. Then the media indicates the two are not together, who knows maybe Vaughan gets worried that Aniston is not acknowledging their relationsip; media can have an impact on relationships, and so Aniston lets it be known she is with Vaughan. I mean, it’s not like she’s cutting herself up, running around without undergarments, taking drugs, or sleeping with other women a married man or her brother. She just acknowledged her relationship with Vaughan. Maybe he felt she was not wanting to publicly acknowledge him and was concerned she had not fully healed from her painful relationship with Pitt.

Hey some of you, I really hate to mention this & I’m not trying to be mean but it is also rumoured in hollywood that your Queen Jennifer Aniston is a notorious coke user, Matt Perry too. She credits yoga for very slim physique but insiders know better. The drug works as a stimulant in the same way as caffeine,why stars use it to stay slim & work long hrs. I agree Angelina was mentally unbalanced. But Angelina don’t hide her demons from the public. She done 180 degree change & won’t do film nudity anymore because she’s a Mom. I think Jolie runs around the world adopting kids because they won’t let her adopt in America. She hasn’t been known to be stable and has had serious drug and mental health issues and carved herself with knives. Adoption policies and regulations in the US can be tighter than they can in say the jungle somewhere.

The pair seems to travel together extensively and rarely seem separated.
When Jolie arrived in Vietnam and was spotted out without her hunky Hollywood beau it even made news as brad was MIA and an Australian newspaper noted that Brad was MIA. So – when the couple does have to sleep apart and alone, what happens?

A report from In Touch Weekly details that Brad has made a good night promise to his lover Angelina.

This “felt so right,” she was quoted as saying and thus set a new course for Angelina. She says she was shocked to see so many people with missing limbs due to land mines and so she set out to do something. Following in the footsteps of Princess Diana, Angelina has been a figure head and has garnered much attention for many different organizations such as the Adopt a Minefield organization and International Campaign to Ban Land Mines.

Hanoi – Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie doled out candy and toys during a surprise visit to an orphanage in southern Vietnam, a state-run newspaper said on Saturday.

The couple went to Tam Binh orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City and had lunch there on Friday, the director of the charity facility told the Saigon Giai Phong (Liberation Saigon) daily.

Newspapers, which ran front-page photos on Friday of Pitt and Jolie riding a scooter in the city, said on Saturday their photographers had been unable to capture any shot of the couple on their second day in town.

The two arrived in Vietnam on Thursday during what appeared to be a break from filming A Mighty Heart in India, where they have been mobbed by fans and stirred a media frenzy.

The film stars Jolie as the wife of US journalist Daniel Pearl, who was abducted and murdered by Islamic militants in Pakistan in 2002. Pitt is the producer.

State newspapers said the couple flew into Vietnam on Thursday from Cambodia, birthplace of their adopted son Maddox.

That night they dined at a Vietnamese restaurant. One newspaper said they would leave Vietnam on Saturday. – Reuters

Older children often not first adoption choice

As of April 2006, 78,960 children in California were waiting for homes in foster care systems, many eligible for adoption.

But families looking to adopt see these kids as a last resort.

The desire to adopt infants, a preference for a particular race or fear of time-consuming and costly court battles are among the reasons prospective parents have avoided adopting foster kids.

“There is this certain stigma about foster care that gets in the way of foster care adoptions,” said Jill Rosenberg, an adoption coordinator for Inner Circle foster care adoption agency.

Parents must realize every adoption is difficult, Rosenberg said.

“It’s really frustrating for me as an adoptions coordinator to see middle- and upper-class families not think about foster care adoption when they begin to think about adopting.”

International adoptions have been receiving extra media coverage since power couples Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Madonna and Guy Ritchie opened their homes to tykes from across the globe.

Their popularity has grown outside the celebrity world as well.

In 1992, there were 6,536 international adoptees brought to the United States. That number more than doubled in 1997 to 13,620. Rosenberg is sure that number has doubled again.

“It has become so desirable to adopt an eastern European child, or an Asian child,” Rosenberg said. “But why go all the way across the world to save a child?”

Another misconception is that infants cannot be adopted through foster care, which isn’t true, Rosenberg said.

Rosenberg said babies should never be placed into the “system”; there should always be a home for them. But foster infants are even becoming hard to place.

“I have had to turn newborn babies away because I don’t have homes for them.”

Cost is another concern for many prospective parents, who have already exhausted their savings trying to have families.

Cary Williams said after she and her husband spent more than $20,000 on unsuccessful in vitro fertilization, foster care adoption was their best option to have children.

Williams acknowledged that the process has been time-consuming and emotionally draining. But she knows that won’t matter when her child is finally in her arms.

Families who adopt foster children don’t face the daunting bills of private adoptions and they receive federal funding for children with special needs.

For Christine and Lance Hart, who adopted five children from the foster care system, adoption assistance payments help finance treatment for their children’s asthma, attention deficit medications, counseling sessions and private school.

In California adoption assistance starts at $425 a month and goes up depending on the child’s needs. Payments last until the child reaches 18.

It’s not fashionable to adopt locals.

Angelina has developed a bad reputation with drugs, sex, S & M, and having affairs with married men, but it was never her fault. At least that’s what I had thought. I realize it’s a bit extreme adopting internationally when there are so many childen in need locally but maybe Angelina can’t adopt locally because of US laws. Jennifer must have felt bad when Angelina was having an affair with her husband. I can understand that. I wouldn’t like it if someone did that to my husband.

A pediatrician expert declared that Angelina Jolie saved her adopted baby daughter’s life, by bringing her to the hospital, right after she arrived in the U.S.

Angelina Jolie Latest: Crusading actress Angelina Jolie paid her respects to victims of the Cambodian genocide with a visit to a former prison in the country’s capital.

Skeletal celebrities setting deadly examples for women, girls

For the past few years we’ve been watching celebrities get thinner and thinner.

Of course, some of the glamour actresses turning in healthy-looking shapes to become skeletons in Vera Wang dresses: Nicole Kidman, Paris Hilton, Angelina Jolie (pick up any recent People magazine). Vanna White looks much too shriveled to actually turn those “Wheel of Fortune” letters.

Drew Barrymore could always be counted on to have nice, fleshy parts that looked like she wasn’t afraid to take on a Big Mac and fries … until lately. She looks like a model, whittling ever closer to the bone.

Some star watchers point to a variety of drugs they believe the rich are taking, including Clenbuterol, a drug used to treat allergic respiratory diseases in horses.

I don’t think of this as merely the cycle of fashion vagaries any more. I look at it as speeding the car faster on its way to the crash. This isn’t just a fashion fad, it’s a horse race to do harmful things to the body to ensure job security by not being the “fat” size 4 among a sea of 2’s, 1’s, 0’s and children’s sizes. They’ll become victims if they don’t stop, because their bodies will eventually turn on them. But the long-term innocent victims — who will fight a disease that may plague them for a lifetime and eventually kill them — are young women and girls.

We’ve known about eating disorders for a long time and the torture sufferers go through trying to break free. But this ridiculousness raises the bar on these women, extending the finish line for them to feel good about their appearances even further.

One of the most poignant TV specials I’ve seen was Monday night’s “Thin,” a real-life documentary of young women in a treatment center for women with eating disorders. Ironically, some of them had healed to the point of looking healthier than the superthin actresses such as Jolie and Kidman.

I had just finished an article in People, which lay on the table next to me while I watched one girl purge and vomit several times in one afternoon and another sob as she listened to a third tell about her former binge-and-purge lifestyle. “Oh, I miss it so much,” the girl cried. “I want to do it again so bad.”

Oh and about Angelina and her father John Voigt. Angelina deserved to hear what her father was saying about her. What kind of a person was she. She mutiliated herself, took ejust about very kind of drug there was, had sex with her brother, sex with women, went out with married men, it didn’t matter to her, she had the who cares about anyone attitude. She was just plain nuts and her father said and did the right thing. IN fact, he may just have saved her from going completely over the edge, of no return, where she might not even be here today. He provided her with a reality check when everyone else seemed to be afraid to.

That do good smoke screen, doesn’t impress me any. Take a look at Heather Mills, she’s into charities, anti landmines, anti fur, but she has to be the most dispicable person there is. That focus on charity, travel for orphans, etc, etc, is just media stuff out there to try to improve their images because they’ve pretty much destroyed them single handedly. They’ve got to do something with their time, after all none of these bozo’s hold a real job.

She’s going to have to do a lot of travelling and charity work to fill up her time.

Brad Pitt only left Jennifer Aniston because he was old fashioned and wanted children and she didn’t seem to be ready to have children. He wanted total commitment. Maybe Aniston wanted to get her acting out of the way, maybe she thought that by having children on Brad’s time, she wasn’t being independent enough and Brad would lose respect for her because she was no challenge at all. What she failed to realize and what Jolie is failing to realize is, Brad Pitt is an old fashioned man. He wants total commitment. This half way stuff won’t cut it after a while. If Jolie and Pitt don’t marry soon, they will never marry and Pitt is not going to stay in a relationship long with a woman who will not fully commit to him. Jolie is no more secure than Aniston was, she is trying to hold back something, figuring if she gives Brad everything there will be nothing more for him to work for. The problem is, that isn’t how Brad Pitt operates. He isn’t into games or strategies. He just wanted to be a committed husband and dad. He’s going to get tired soon of travelling the world over, always having to be in the limelight, never having a normal life. That old fashioned guy in him is going to end up wanting that old fashioned wholesome gal who bakes apple pie has a career and great friends, but also has time for he his family and his children. He isn’t going to find that in Jolie. Once the whirlwind excitement has worn off with he and Jolie, he’s going to realize what he had with Aniston and want it back. While Pitt will be thankful to Jolie for the goodwill ambassador stuff, and the adventure, she doesn’t provide him with the stabilty he is craving.

Parents can tell when a partner is suited to their children. With Jolie the Pitts worry about Brad. She’s not a family person. She craves the limelight and to be in command in the relationship. She will never fully commit to their son. Aniston seems to have learned from the loss of Brad, that he really was an old fashioned fellow who just wanted a family and marriage. He’s not a complicated guy. The two are now reportedly reconciling and this does not make Jolie happy. Brad was seeking Aniston out and was interested in talking to her about some acting roles. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out, that there was more to that connection. Aniston’s close ties with the Pitts has been a sore spot with Jolie and that is not going to bring her close to Brad or his family. It appears Aniston has cooled off her relationship with Vaughan, she’s made it clear she wants to make ammends with Pitt and she’s also said she wants children. Don’t be surprised to see a reunion between Pitt and Aniston. Both are more mature and ready.

And on the Jolie front, she’ll end up just like her mother, alone and angry with her husband. Brad will be yet another husband Jolie will be disillusioned with for leaving her, and not living up to her expectations of him. She’ll fail to see that even though she has a lot to offer, her demands on men are too high and she is too self serving, and can’t commit or give them the stability they need. Having a hoard of kids that aren’t even his isn’t providing Pitt with stability. While Pitt will miss seeing Shilo, he’ll soon realize, this lifestyle not what he wants out of life. Acting is complicated and demanding enough, he needs to balance that with simplicity and down to earth living, and that includes family ties. Jolie does not get along with Pitts family, she doesn’t get along with her father.

And this, Jennifer Aniston has reconciled with her mother, Nancy, after nine strained years. Aniston stopped speaking to her mother after Nancy talked about her famous daughter on a talk show in 1996 and wrote the book, From Mother and Daughter To Friends. Nancy brought up Jennifer alone after Jennifer’s actor father, Days of Our Lives star John Aniston, walked out on their marriage when Jennifer was 9. But Aniston tells Elle magazine her own divorce from Brad Pitt has helped her to reevaluate her relationship with her mother. “I’m thrilled. It’s so wonderful. And who knew that this (divorce) would be the thing to initiate this? It’s amazing. It’s like we get to reintroduce ourselves to each other. I’m just happy she’s still here.”

This just proves that with time and adversity, Aniston is a forgiving person, and that with time and adversity, Jolie is not. It won’t take long for Pitt to recognize this if he hasn’t already. I predict it won’t be long before Aniston and Pitt are reunited.

Wow, I bet no one saw this coming! What with all the “there’s nothing to see here” and “we aren’t engaged” crap coming out of Aniston’s mouth for the last year, it was a matter of time before Vince got the hint Jennifer just wasn’t committed to the relationship, or perhaps that she’s one loopy b***h.

An “inside source” told Us Weekly that Vaughn confided to him/her, “It’s not common knowledge, but we’re not together anymore. We’ve split up.”

The Good Girl also canceled a pre-arranged visit to London, where she and Vaughn were to have attended a party together on September 23. Lucky Vince, maybe now he can have a good time a la Wedding Crashers without the old ball and chain to drag him down.

What does Team Aniston have to say about The Break-Up stars’ reported breakup? “They’re 100 percent done,” said the source.

That sounds like something Team Anniston would say. The reasons behind the split are numerous and not unpredictable, including sources citing Vince being “scared off” by how “needy she is.”

Oh, that’s the death knell right there, ladies: neediness. You don’t have to be a multi-millionaire famous actress to know that.

Not surprisingly, another big factor was the old “Jen’s world” issue causing way too much scrutiny for the couple as the media blitz that plagued them wouldn’t let up and just let them be, let them alone.

So, it seems, in this case, it’s Jen’s fault for the breakup. What guy’s ego — even a seemingly laid back guy like Vaughn — is going to tolerate constant public denials of a relationship? Imagine if you will you weren’t a famous guy, but just some Joe Blow and the girl you keep taking out on dates and taking home to mom constantly says, “We aren’t dating — I don’t even know who this pecker is, he just keeps showing up the same places I do.” I mean, seriously.

Holy sweet mother of dipping Achilles — Brad and Angelina may or may not be on the rocks! They are, according to Aussie tab-rag New Weekly.

With Jolie, 30, just weeks away from squirting out what could be the Best Looking Human Ever, “insiders” say endless arguments over “Ange’s” inability to commit to a wedding date have “finally pushed Brad into leaving.”

“Brad and Ange have been fighting like cat and dog,” reports the rag. “Over where to have the baby, over whether Angelina should continue to fly and also over her thinness.”

She does look mighty scrawny in that pic — eat some of whatever Britney’s eating, woman.

While other sources have Pitt, 42, not out the door but relegated to the couch of the couple’s Paris apartment, all agree the large-lipped, eight-month pregnant “Mrs Smith” refuses to be pinned down on a wedding date and that that is the main source of friction.

“He’s getting calls from his mom Jane, who thinks no baby should be born out of wedlock,” says NM’s source. “Brad wants to nail a date in Italy, but feels Ange is skirting around the issue.”

Another “insider” says, “Ange has been putting up obstacle after obstacle and it’s clear to Brad she’s not just stalling anymore. She doesn’t seem to have any intention of marrying him any time soon.” That won’t sit well with Brad who wants a committed family. Brad’s parents would understand that.

Like covalent bonding, when stars hook up the resulting cultural charge can be exponential to the individuals’ separate wattage, as witnessed by Pitt’s pairings with first Jennifer Aniston and now Angelina Jolie. I mean Jessica Simpson was a C-lister and Nick Lachey (“I was the co-lead singer of 98 Degrees!”) couldn’t find a freaking list prior to Newlyweds, but the amps fly even bigger and hotter if the relationship is imperiled by the vicissitudes of the showbiz life and the temptations of uncontainable image projection.

Actress Jennifer Aniston seems to have more in common with Angelina Jolie than Team Aniston fans would care to admit. Besides

Aniston, 36, became estranged from her mother after she made “unflattering comments” about her daughter on a US TV chat show in 1996 and wrote about Jennifer’s childhood in “From Mother And Daughter To Friends” in 1999. Nancy was not invited to Jennifer’s wedding with Pitt.

However, Jennifer, who has started to understand her mom’s behavior, with the divorce and other things that happened, confessed she reconciled with her.

Jennifer tells Elle magazine: "I’m thrilled. It’s so wonderful. And who knew that this (divorce)
would be the thing to initiate this?
It’s amazing. It’s like we get to reintroduce ourselves to each other. I’m just happy she’s still here.”, Jennifer confessed.

“I’m not saying that there weren’t issues that took place that led to this. But I really see now whether it was judging her on how she handled her separation or her situation, but they didn’t have the advantages that we have with therapy, with self-help books”, Aniston explained.

While many of you were spending Thanksgiving enjoying the turkey and gravy, Brangelina was spotted riding away in the streets of Vietnam.

Brad Pitt rode the motorcycle while Angelina Jolie held on tight as the couple did a little sightseeing. The couple is taking a break from filming A Mighty Heart in India. Brad navigated through the chaotic streets in Ho Chi Minh and when asked if he was worried about driving through the chaotic streets, Brad smiled and said, “There will be no problem.”

Brangelina arrived in the city after a brief trip to Cambodia, original home of the couple’s five-year-old adopted son, Maddox. No word on what country the couple will hop on to next.

Now comes a report that Brad has made a promise to Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie’s mother. The handsome and very traditional Southern Missouri boy has given up on marrying Angelina Jolie and tried spin the message earlier with his clumsy remark that he and Jolie would only get married when everyone in the US that wished to wed could do so legally.

But reports from In Touch Weekly details that Marcheline would prefer the pair marries and make their children legitimate.

That’s likely not going to happen with Angie as she has already failed at two marriages, and seems adamant that she will not fail at a third.

Not all appears well with the Vince Vaughn-Jennifer Aniston love life. Vaughn has been reported to call off the relationship. A US Weekly magazine has reported that Vaughn snapped ties with Jen in an emotional phone call at the time of leaving for the shoot of his movie Joe Claus in London.

He even cancelled Jen’s plan to visit him there.

The reason attributed to the split is Jen’s neediness!

Vince got scared after realizing how needy she was. Her living in a world of her own, surrounded by the media, was not what Vince was prepared for.

The split between the two has also been confirmed by the actor’s close friends. Jennifer appears to have been hit the harder of the two.

Brad Pitt, Aniston’s ex-hubby understands what Vince is going through, having earlier experienced the same fate.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will split up in 2007 and Brad will run back to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, according to an Indian Anand Soni who met with the couple in Pune, India.

Mystic Anand Soni met with the couple in Pune, India, where they are shooting their new movie A Mighty Heart. Angelina stars in the film and Brad is producing it.

According to India’s Mumbai Midday newspaper, Soni informed a shocked Brad and Angelina that the Fight Club actor was still “mentally very much together” with his ex-wife.

Soni then said: “There is no reason why they should not become close again.”

The paper also reports that Soni informed the couple – who have three children together – biological daughter Shiloh, adopted Cambodian son Maddox and Ethiopian daughter Zahara – the month that they would split would be December 2007.

Brad and Jennifer split in January 2005 amid allegations he was having an affair with Angelina Jolie after meeting her on the set of their movie Mr And Mrs Smith.

Their divorce was finalised in October of the same year.

“Brad actually thought Vince was a good guy and liked him when they worked together. He totally understands what Vince is going through with her. Jen is just incredibly needy and controlling and made his life hell,” the source said.

Needless to say, Aniston rode her high-profile romance and divorce straight onto the big screen, and by breaking up with Vince Vaughn twice a week, it seems her name will remain in the gossip rags and on our minds for quite some time.

In fact, Universal just picked up Counter Clockwise, a script written by Paul Bernbaum with the intentions of having Aniston produce and also star.

I think Jolie will end up doing television. She’ll enjoy herself but the incomes won’t be as good as before. She’s a good actress but so as many other actresses in the industry. She’ll get a nasty surprise when she’s being turned down for parts because she’s aged or because she’s no longer with her boyfriend. I work in the industry I know how something is so hot this year and the next year you don’t hear about it anymore. People in the industry think she can act but they also know she’s hot because of pitt. She’s also very prone to bad press, they’re very careful when it comes to casting her in movies. You know a lot of money goes into making a movie, the box office is a very big deal. It is a business at the end of the day. Investors want to make their money back. It may sound really shallow but that is the reality behind the screen. Jolie and her boyfriend know this. This is why whenever they’re doing something good they make sure everyone knows about it. Well if we’re tossing all present family commitments aside, as everyone here seems to suggest, I’m sure Brad Pitt has other choices than Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie.

I don’t know which I’m more baffled by: People taking Pitt and Aniston’s break up so personally or why Chinifer was famous or considered attractive in the first place. Given the way that Maniston hung on to her past with Pitt to stay in the lime light, and the way the tabloids keep trying to push Aniston and Pitt back together, I could understand Jolie being a little suspicious.

I think that Angelina is far from being someone to believe a single word of what the tabs and rag magazines write, she doesn’t even have a publicist, you know of the likes of Maniston’s Huvane to sue every single gossip article that would not please her. Anyway I don’t thnk Angelina would ever listen to poor common stalkers spitting their hate and frustration on someone they don’t even know in real life. I like the way Angelina and Brad live their lives, and when you meant to be together it’s easy to have it all: children, career and a balanced relationship. What makes me laugh to death is the everlasting changing forecast from chinnifer maniston’s fans! How many polls did you see 2 years ago, telling that Brangelina would last for few months, that “VAUGHNISTON” at least won’t break before them etc… Now that obviousness jumps off the page that they were wrong they begin to ponder anew and give 5 years. Why 5 years? Because Chin Chin was with Brad for 7 years? Let us see, hope Maniston fans will move on at last in 5 years!

Angelina and Brad are just as messed up as the rest of us. It’s easy to point the finger and say look at their lives, see how much they get wrong. But none of us are perfect. I just think there is too much expectation on celebs they are only human after all.

It’s sad how no one thinks of all the children involved now. Angelina and Brad need to stay together even for the childrens sake. There’s a ton of men out there and Jennifer Aniston can surely find somone else and start a new family with children of her own. Brad Pitt’s mother needs to take a hike. Maybe she’s not that into the kids since the majority are adopted. Brad stick to your family and make it work or you won’t be that popular anymore.

i really think that you had a good will when you decided to adopt children from other land but you must know that there is a big bussines fomented by couples like you.children have been kidnaped all around the globe to be solgt to families that wanted children.to adopt them is not really solving the problems,like forced marriages etc.i think we really need to help the people.to take them is only saving those lucky ones but not the rest.you are famous and you could really do a lot to help to modiffy whats wrong.the root of the problem in the case of the forced marriages is the traditional way of thinkingthat makes from the childres property of the father.women are solgt for marriage and they also have after children with a men they dont love and the same thing is repeated on their children and so on.thank you for this space.a a c

i Love both Angelina and Jennifer for different reasons but in this case i think they are both to blame.
Who are you to say bad stuff about brangelina and their relationship? You don’t know them personally and you certainly don’t live with them.. so really? How are we to know what really goes on?

Secondly, i don’t think it was a very good idea to invite her ex-husbands parents to a dinner, knowing full well that her and Ange aren’t exactly ‘best-friends’.
But since Jen is his ex-wife, i think Ange could have been a bit more understanding of the situation.
But then again, this whole article could be exaggerated and fake. Again, no-one knows.
