Kate Moss and Pete DohertyKate Moss is furious that Pete Doherty is hanging around with his old friends, who she deems to be bad influences on him, and reportedly told him that he has to choose between his friends or her.

She has reportedly stopped wearing her engagement ring after Pete’s arrest for possession of crack-cocaine at the weekend.

A friend of Pete’s told the Daily Mail that Pete has been spending time with a friend called ‘The General’ who looked after Pete during his time in jail last year and another friend, musician Peter Wolfe. Wolfe was with Pete at the weekend and also arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs.

The friend said: “He’s one step away from ripping the implant which helps him stay off heroin out of his arm and going back on the smack.”

“We’ve tried to keep him away from the bad influences. For a while he wasn’t seeing any of the old dodgy crowd. These are the people he was hanging around with at the depths of his addictions, when he was really f***ed up. But he’s back in touch with his old friends and is hanging around the East End driving his beaten-up Jaguar, off his head.”

The friend added that Pete is still befriending groupies too: “Pete knows he’s dating the most beautiful woman in the world but even that doesn’t seem to be enough.”
