David BeckhamDespite rumours circulating about a biopic being in development, David Beckham has revealed he has no intention of becoming an actor when he retires from football.

The Real Madrid player told a Spanish magazine recently: “No way! I’ve never wanted to be an actor. I don’t want to act. It has never appealed to me…

“When I finish my career what I want to do most is spend more time with my sons and Victoria and do some work for good causes. I want to create more sports schools for children.”

David has also agreed to give Tom Cruise’s children private soccer lessons as a wedding present for new friends Tom and Katie Holmes. Tom and Katie are frequently spotted watching Isabella and Connor, Tom’s children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, at football matches and after Victoria couldn’t think what to buy the happy couple, David suggested the lessons.

A source told the Daily Star: “[Victoria] considered buying his-and-hers watches and various home decor presents, but just couldn’t find anything suitable… Tom’s daughter Isabella is football mad which gave David the brainwave.”

David was previously rumoured to have offered to give Maddox Jolie-Pitt lessons too as a favour to his father, Brad Pitt.
