After a bitter divorce and custody battle, Alec Baldwin appears to have finally made amends with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Alec had previously refused to obey the terms of the initial court ruling for custody of their daughter Ireland and previously claimed that Kim was lying to the girl in order to turn her against him and lying to him about her whereabouts.

However, during an appearance on Larry King Live on CNN last week, Alec praised Kim as a person and as a parent: “My ex-wife was somebody who was funny and she was fun… and she was a lot of fun to be with. She was a great, great person.

“And then all of a sudden I think we just wanted to live different lives. But I think she’s a great mother, yes, good mom.”
