Dita Von Teese thinks Europeans appreciate her retro look a lot more than her fellow Americans but in the end, she doesn’t mind because at the end of the day, she likes her vintage outfits and corsets.

She said recently: “I’ve got a collection of worst-dressed lists from magazines that I’m on and they’re all in the US, and a bunch of the times I’ve been on the best-dressed lists and they’re all from Europe.”

“I feel more comfortable in a Fifties slip with a couple of holes in it and a stain on the front than in a pair of sweatpants with ‘University of Whatever’ on them.”
