Nicole Richie has borrowed a technique from tabloids to seemingly comment on her firing of/mutual-decision-split from stylist Rachel Zoe.

Nicole posted a message on her MySpace blog yesterday in the form of a “Blind Item” - a story about a unnamed celebrity with just enough hints for the savvy reader to guess who it might be - accusing the unnamed woman of circulating rumours that Nicole suffers from an eating disorder to distract from her own.

Nicole wrote (spelling mistakes and all):

“BLIND ITEM:
What 35 year old raisin face whispers her order of 3 peices of asparagus for dinner at Chateau everynight, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, and used her last paycheck I wrote her to pay for a publisist instead of a nutritionist?
HINT: Her nickname is lettucecup…”

Rachel’s spokesperson had no comment on the post.
