Liv Tyler has revealed that she considered giving up acting for good after giving birth to her first child.

Her son, Milo, was born in December 2004 and Liv took over a year off from her career to spend with her newborn son.

She told the Buffalo News recently: “It was really a reflective period for me, and I was asking myself all these questions, like, ‘Should I retire and move to the country and have lots of babies?’”

But in the end, she realised that she didn’t want to give up her career at that point in her life: “That year off helped me realize I love what I do.”
