Sheryl Crow took vow of silence to help with cancer stress
Sheryl Crow has revealed she took a religious retreat and a vow of silence to help her recover mentally after being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.
Sheryl’s diagnosis came just weeks after she split from fiance Lance Armstrong and she felt she needed a break from the mental stress.
She revealed recently: “I’ve always been on a spiritual quest - I meditate.”
“I went away to an ashram and took a vow of silence for six days and that was really one of those refining moments… It definitely helped me through this process.”
Sheryl revealed in October that she had been given the all-clear after her treatment for the disease last winter.
