• Dallas Cowboys player Tony Romo has denied rumours that he’s dating Jessica Simpson but admits to having a crush on her. He has been plagued with questions about the romance since Sports Illustrated reported the rumours a fortnight ago. He said recently: “So I don’t have to answer any more questions about this: I’m not dating Jessica Simpson, nor have I gone on a date with her.” Jessica’s dad Joe Simpson added: “Jess has never met Tony [but] I am friends with him.”
  • Kerry Katona has revealed she is expecting a baby girl with fiance Mark Croft. Kerry had hoped for a baby brother for her two daughters Molly and Lilly but has now revealed she’s expecting a girl instead. The baby is due on 1st April next year.
  • Rod Stewart is regretting building a separate home for his grown-up children on his Los Angeles estate because he’s worried they’re too comfortable there and might never leave home. He initially thought it would be nice to provide a place for them to call home but he’s now revealed: “As it was going up, I was thinking, ‘Oh, you stupid bastard. What were you thinking?’ It’s got sunken baths, walk-in closets, marble floors, moldings. I’ve got a feeling that my kids will be living with me in their thirties and beyond.” Rod has seven children ranging from 42 year old Sarah to Alastair, who turned one last week.
