Pete Doherty receives fine and 4-month driving ban
Pete Doherty has been fined and been disqualified from driving for four months following his arrest for five counts of drug possession in August.
Pete appeared at Thames Magistrates Court in London in London and could have faced a custodial sentence given his recent arrest for possession of crack-cocaine but District Judge Jane McIvor felt that the possession charges were not serious enough to require jail time.
After pleading guilty at an earlier court appearance, today Pete was ordered to pay a £770 fine and had his driving licence revoked for four months.
Pete is due to appear in court again in January as part of the drug rehabilitation and supervision order he received earlier in the year.
