Courtney LoveCourtney Love has claimed that Prince Andrew once turned up at her Los Angeles home in the early hours of the morning, looking for a party.

In an interview with Russell Brand, she revealed she was set for bed, in a dressing gown and slippers, when “Prince Andrew turns up at one in the morning and he wants to party.”

“He’d come to look for chicks. He was there with a bodyguard.”

“I don’t know what he expected at my house. I think he thought it was going to be like a party.”

Courtney made the royal, who is 4th in line to the throne, a cup of tea and took a photo of the two of them drinking from mugs on her sofa.

A royal spokesperson has confirmed that the two met in 2000 at a former dinner with other people in Los Angeles and that afterwards the whole party when back to Courtney’s house: “They all went back to her house. As he does not drink he asked for a cup of tea. He stayed 45 minutes.”
