• It’s been a while since there has been a Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie wedding rumour but now a source has told the Daily Mail that the couple are planning to marry over Christmas in a small village outside Johannesburg in South Africa. The source claims it will be a “simple and elegant” ceremony, featuring traditional music from the area: “They are treating their marriage like a spiritual affirmation and don’t need big Hollywood glitz like Tom Cruise had in Italy.” Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and Madonna have been rumoured to be on the potential guest list.
  • Gwen Stefani is set to develop her own perfume to complete her L.A.M.B clothing line. Speaking at a joint press conference with Coty Inc in New York this week, Gwen announced the plans and said “creating a fragrance is one of the most prestigious things a designer can do.” The scent will be launched next year.
  • Girls Aloud celebrated four years together as a band and the success of their recently released Greatest Hits album by throwing a party at London cocktail bar Mahiki on Wednesday night. Nadine Coyle took on-again boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe to the celebration and told the Sun that “things are great” between them again now and they’re spending Christmas together in Dubai.
