Lindsay LohanA source claiming to be a friend of Lindsay Lohan has told the National Enquirer that Lindsay is addicted to painkiller Oxycontin.

The source, who claims to be a member of Lindsay’s entourage, told the magazine: “I watched Lindsay Lohan snort cocaine and pop OxyContin then wash it all down with vodka.”

“I’ve spent many drink and drug-fuelled nights with Lindsay. I’m only coming forward now because I want to save her life.”

Lindsay recently started attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to help curb her partying ways but has previously denied speculation that she takes drugs, saying: “I don’t do drugs. That’s something I would never do.”

OxyContin is legal but controlled for medical use in the US. It offers a sustained-release of a painkiller akin to morphine or heroin.
