The Office’s Lucy Davis marries at St Paul’s Cathedral

The Office’s Lucy Davis married fiance Owain Yeoman at St Paul’s Cathedral in London yesterday.

Lucy and Owain met while both working in Los Angeles a year ago and were allowed to marry at the cathedral because Lucy’s father, comedian Jasper Carrott, has an OBE.

Lucy wore a traditional white dress and after the ceremony, Lucy and Owain posed for photographs on the cathedral steps.

An onlooker commented: “It was all incredibly romantic, everyone is absolutely delighted for them.”

A second onlooker added that Lucy had shed her girl-next-door image from her Office days: “she looked like a Hollywood star - toned, thin and radiant.”

Father of the bride Jasper said of the day: “I’m very proud. It was amazing, very emotional. Lucy looked really stunning.”

The 300 wedding guests were then whisked away to the reception in five double-decker buses - continuing the London-theme started by Lucy’s arrival at the cathedral in a black taxi cab.
