  • Britney Spears is reportedly planning to auction off her wedding dress for charity. Britney wore the white strapless gown when she married now estranged husband Kevin Federline in September 2004 but now they are divorcing a source has revealed she plans to “clean out my closets in order to re-start my life.” The source added: “She knows that it holds no more romantic illusions for her, and the profits could go to the foundation she has set up.”
  • Renee Zellweger has revealed she enjoyed filming Miss Potter, a Beatrix Potter biopic, in the UK because of, well, all the eye candy. She said recently: “British men: what’s there not to like? Look around the room. Look at all the gorgeous men.”
  • Dolly Parton has covered up for Jessica Simpson’s flub of her hit “9 to 5″ at the Kennedy Center Honors the weekend before last. Jessica fled the stage in tears after struggling through a performance of the song but now Dolly has said she believes it was total understandable given the star-studded audience, including George W Bush and Dolly herself: “Jessica is so talented that I’m sure that someday they will be paying tribute to her and I would be honoured to perform for her. But I’ll probably be so nervous that I’ll forget my wig!”
