The new party queen was spotted at the Element nightclub in Hollywood on Wednesday night wearing a see-through lace top, exposing her nipples to the bank of photographers waiting for her outside.

According to onlookers though, Britney was probably too drunk to be care - sources at the club reported that she had to be guided out by her friends at the time to leave and had spilled drinks down her blouse and skirt.

An onlooker said: “She was more than a little merry and put quite a few drinks away.”

Britney’s previous partying buddy Paris Hilton was nowhere in sight though - in fact on the other side of the country - because according to the New York Post’s Page Six, Britney has been told to steer clear of the socialite: “Britney has been told by her people that if she ever wants a comeback, she has to stay far away from Paris and start acting like an adult.”

In related news, Paris’s recent blog entry defending Britney’s mothering skills appears to have been faked. Paris’s spokesperson Elliot Mintz told entertainment news site TMZ: “Paris did not write it. She does not have a MySpace account.”
